Riga Comm 2013

Planning to attend the event taking place this year from 22 to 24 November at Ķīpsala - the 2nd Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Exhibition and Conference "RIGA COMM 2013", where Latvian manufacturers, traders and service providers will be able to learn about and try out the hottest ICT innovations from around the world.

More than 50 Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian and Russian ICT companies will participate in the "Riga Comm 2013" exhibition, presenting to industry professionals, company executives and other interested visitors interactive and innovative ICT solutions, business applications, IT outsourcing, security solutions, telecommunication products, internet and mobile marketing services and more.

"Are We Pirates?" - at the "RIGA COMM 2013" technology conference "The Next Big Thing", this question will be addressed by Peter Sunde, co-founder of the largest file-sharing network "The Pirate Bay", who is also known as the developer of the apps "Hemlis" and "Flattr".

The 35-year-old Swedish computer genius Peter Sunde gained his fame through the famous file-sharing site "The Pirate Bay", of which he was the official spokesperson until 2009. In recent years, the Pirate Bay - with over 31 million users - has been fighting to avoid shutdown.
