Wedding anniversaries

Wedding is one beautiful life celebration, and certainly, if someone has doubt, if they need to organize them with range or thought to get married just in attendance of weddingwitnesses, saving time, money, energy and everything else, then unambiguous we advise to celebrate these celebrations. It stands as a value for all lifelong. Besides, wedding anniversaries are amazing chance after many years to become a little bit sentimental and to remember about all beautiful moments, which are spent together, and hard times, which are shared and got through together.

This year we celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary or Sugar wedding. In other sources it’s called as Cast-iron wedding. In these years there has been adapting, “polishing” and stability, of course, was cast-iron heaviness worth, but, in my opinion, joy of living and sweetness in relation are never too much, and it needs to be learned how to get them in even in the most monotonous and routine full days.

So as the August is coming, which in Latvia, traditionally is with wedding the most rich time, then I’ll remind to all young couples and married, about wedding anniversary traditions ( of course, without subjective comments will not get out too).

Green wedding.

It’s the same wedding day, and every month after wedding in the first year. I my opinion, every month, in our hurry century wasn’t so meaningful to celebrate, because first month is honeymoon, when both live out of reality feeling or goes in some further trip. Or it can be opposite, before, when it wasn’t good to live together before wedding, then first year together was very relevant period, when for one another learned something new and then you need to get along with it and to adopt even for such habits, what could annoy you. Green wedding simbol – myrtle crown in wedding day, can gift a tree too, which will grow and become strong like the family.

Paper wedding (1^st anniversary).

Other it’s compared with white, plain sheet for common life begging, but it seems that for one year there can manage to write many things on this sheet. Besides needs to say like in O.Vacietis poem about paper sheet – “write only sweet, good words on the snow white soul”. I need to agree for one thing, that paper is very delicate material, which very easy can fall to pieces. In this wedding gift can be notebooks, cards, books, calendarsormoney (paper money :) ).

Cotton wedding (2^nd anniversary).

Now something stronger and safer. Gifts can be cotton products, different cute things with imprinting.

Leather wedding (3^rd anniversary).

In three years relationship has become strong enough. Leather is practical and serves for long time. It can be alternating and flexible as it can be hard, inflexible and noncompliant. Differently if it is fur: warm, soft and cute. Gifts can be wallets, belts and bags etc.

Flax wedding, silk and flower wedding too, in other sources ceramic wedding (4^th anniversary).

Slowly in home comes prosperity. Can afford to buy as flax, as silk products. Presents flax towels, tablecloths, silk bedclothes, delicate jewelry and flowers. Although women would like to receive the last in every anniversary and not just then.

Wooden or lilac wedding (5^th anniversary).

Five years is already a big time. It’s first serious anniversary. Family is strong enough, but to wood is dangerous fire – family arguments. Presents different wooden products, spoons, wooden decorations etc.

Cast iron, sugar wedding too(6^th anniversary).

Cast iron after its character is heavy and it keeps worm for a long time. In family grows – warm, harmony and ability to talk. Different difficulties has been overcome, relation has become very strong. Presents cast-iron pots, pans etc. In some sources there’s said that zinc wedding, which celebrate after six and a half years. Why’s that, who knows?!

Copper or wool wedding (7^th anniversary).

Copper – beautiful material and worth enough. Couple exchange with copper coins, like coming happiness pawn. Soft and trustful metal confirms, what meaning in relation making is woman, because in alchemy copper is connected with Venus – so with warm and femininity. Can present candlesticks and other household materials.

Tin, bronze wedding too(8^th anniversary).

Shining tin – symbol of relation regeneration. Not for nothing tin plates are on roofs. Presents household accessories, forms for cooking, candlesticks, cars. Hmm, I will need to be patient for couple of years, till new yellow New beetle Cabrio in backyard.

Faience wedding (9^th anniversary).

Faience dishes usually are in white color, but high brand faience is like porcelain. Probably, this is the time for revalue relationship. Faience after its character is beautiful, strong, but still fragile. Relation has become strong, but it’s woundable too. Needs to know how to listen ( I would say – hear) other. Presents different dishes, vases and glass. They can be made from faience, porcelain, crystal or glass.

Tin, rose or aluminum wedding(10^th anniversary).

Couple relation has become great, time tested. Are invited all, whoparticipated in the wedding. Husband presents to his wife red rose bunch like love and loyalty simbol. Rose – beautiful in its bloom, armed with sharp spines. Love and passion sign, which symbolizes youth, clarity, completeness, worldly love and rebirth. In place of tin gift some people presents amber jewelry. I wouldn’t be against to red rose bunch get some collection of tin soldiers. :)

Steel wedding (11^th anniversary).

Steelis as shiny, as wide used. Steel can achieve melting in high temperature after which it cools and solidifies, resulting in template form. Couple, in relation, has gone through life school. Between them, there’s transparency and understanding from half word. Presents dishes made ​​from stainless steel.

Nickel wedding(12^th anniversary).

Nickel tougher against damage, against rust. Need to mention, that in this time couple needs to keep in their relation a sparkle, needs to spend time to each other, need to bring in back every day hurry. Presents nickel dishes.

Lacy, wool wedding too(13^th anniversary).

Agateor ivory wedding (14^th anniversary).

Glass, and amber wedding too(15^th anniversary).

Glass is transparent, it can be both thicker and thinner. Matrimonial relations have become increasingly transparent. 15 years of marriage to one will be the colorful stained glass window, to the other - translucent, shimmering glass jar. Finally see one another through! Often, children are raised up bigger and is a reflection of the family. This anniversary is usually celebrated in the majority of friends and acquaintances, looking for a experiences spouse of 15 years. Present glass and crystal products. Pearlwedding(30^th anniversary).

Relations between couple are shiny like the pearls. Pearls are generally a symbol of beauty and perfection, not for nothing that in ancient times they werecalled the tears of gods. Associated with purity, patience and clarity. Remembrance of all the joys and tears. On this day her husband presents his wife pearl necklace. It can be! :)

Coral, the fabric wedding too(35^th anniversary).

Gold is considered as the most valuable metal. Symbolizes all that’s having a great asset and that’s most difficult to reach. Half a century together - it's worth it to celebrate with a scope and in a gift to get a gold jewelry and other gold products. Well then, finally, on all my fingers will be one (at least) golden ring!

Emeraldwedding(55^th anniversary).

So long are still living and still married? Well, can 100% say – successful marriage. This green jewel attributes great force, and treats to him with awe. As the spring, fertility, rain, or a symbol of hope - it marks the Indian summer life in the spring. Need peace and rest. Great if couple leaves for a beautiful place and spends some time in two, as several decades ago in the honey month. Well, maybe not so intensive. :)

Diamondwedding(60^th anniversary).

This is the most chants, and one of the hardest stones, associated with incorruptibility and invincibility. Because of its transparency and clarity is called the symbol of truth. Absolutely nothing can no longer disrupt this relationship, which is just as shiny as a diamond. Present diamonds!

Ironwedding, also known as diamond crown wedding(65^th anniversary).

Symbolizes power, strength, steadfastness. This iron is struck in life and is still hot. Can present things of stainless steel.

Brilliantwedding (70th Anniversary).

The most expensive gemstone in the world, and over the years developed and polished, making it many times more expensive and valuable. All this also applies to living together and love. Gift ring with real brilliant - and that I want to experience, in spite of relentless time.

Crownor red wedding(75^th anniversary).

So many years together - it really is the crown of the whole.  :) In other sources red wedding referred as the 100^th anniversary, but afterthe 70^th anniversary, at that age has no memory, so that everything can mistake. Surprise gifts - a special poetry and essays.
