Everyone who tends to have opinions certainly has one about the Constitutional preamble too. In broad strokes, the story is about whether power belongs to the people of Latvia or to Latvians. Looking through various opinions, I came across an article in which lawyers Jānis Pleps and Edgars Pastars share their thoughts and reach the conclusion that the idea of Latvian sovereignty is undesirable for Latvia.
In Soviet times, every Sunday was a professional holiday - milkmaid's day, spinner's day, blacksmith's day... But production disappeared, times change, and it has become fashionable to mark degrees of kinship. Only don't stop at what's been achieved! Forgotten grandparents, brothers, sisters, half-brothers, sons-in-law, cousins, godmothers... let each Sunday have its own!
Jeļena Ušakova heads the youth organisation "Нам По Пути", which was founded in 2006, but at some point (in 2009?) this organisation became the "Nil support team". Perhaps out of love for her husband, perhaps out of respect for the sponsors who appeared along with it. This organisation publishes a newspaper in Russian, "При[ш]кольная".
The mission of social networks is to supplement real life, preserving and transferring communication and socialisation opportunities to the virtual environment. In its early days, the virtual environment offered the possibility of maintaining a virtual "self" image, publicly displaying only those qualities that the owner of that image desires. But the virtual environment converged with the real one very quickly - not supplementing it, but merely introducing a new dimension of communication.
Nowadays leaders do not need to inspire and persuade the people, do not need to be loved by the people. True, they need to be shrewd enough to attract financial resources, because as you can see, the devil himself dances for money, not to mention PR campaigns and international organisations. One way or another, Darwin's theory's requirement regarding resourcefulness must be met.

This week's attention was drawn to how money can serve not only as an equivalent of goods or services, but also as a surrogate for seemingly irreplaceable values, such as health, morality and even relationships.
This is not a story about the number of steps or floors, but about how little we are able to concentrate on the things we do, and about how little we pay attention to and remember details. It seems that mental independence depends on good memory and attention.
