Winter people are endowed with strong willpower and purposefulness, yet with a certain pronounced self-love and stubbornness. They are always confident in what they do, so it is hard to knock them off balance. The stubborn character, unwavering conviction of their own rightness, and inflexibility cause problems in family life. Moreover, they are not among the most talkative - discussing and talking through a problem is not in their nature. Winter people are silent and ponder everything deep within themselves. Words for them are empty air, winter people prefer to prove themselves through deeds.
Autumn is usually associated with maturity, and so it is - autumn people stand firmly on the ground and are grown-up in their judgements. They do not drift in clouds of illusion; they can see and accept the harsh reality of life. Autumn people are good calculators, quite pedantic and deliberate. Autumn people are diplomatic and principled; they are diligent and industrious, always holding to their firmly formulated views. Things go well for them, thanks to their balanced character.
Summer people have "broad" souls and are generous, because they usually lack for nothing (and they consider this a matter of course rather than a gift of fate). They are inclined towards risk and are not at all careerists (not at any price - if it works out, it works out; if not, that's fine too), but they are quite hardworking, and that brings them their main successes.
I had a craving to fry some fish - a tasty pangasius fillet. Browsing the spice shelf at Rimi and looking for seasonings specifically for fish dishes, I came across an "interesting" package adorned with a pilfered image from iStockphoto. The only conclusion I can draw is that SIA "Twins&Co", registered in Ulbroka, which packages spices, simply does not care about its external image or what photo background it places its logo against.
I continue to add to my verse notebook - this time I will compile greetings for the wedding day and wedding anniversaries. It has always seemed to me that wedding greeting cards in particular are special - so white, delicate and refined. With a certain reverence I have always picked up a fine black pen and chosen it carefully, so that the writing might look as elegant and graceful as possible.
A wedding is one of life's beautiful celebrations, and certainly if anyone is in doubt about whether to hold it with great fanfare or to simply marry in the presence of witnesses only, saving time, resources, energy and whatever else - we wholeheartedly recommend holding this celebration. It remains a value for the whole of life. As August rapidly approaches, which in Latvia is traditionally the richest time for weddings, I will remind all young couples and married people about the traditions of wedding anniversaries.
This woman enjoys subjugating men; she is well aware of her own attractiveness and tries to accentuate it, despite the fact that she does not typically feel strong sexual desire. She generally enjoys lovemaking and easily reaches satisfaction, but any reluctance to adopt more or less extravagant positions during the act may sometimes be dictated by concerns about her hairstyle getting messed up.
During the Jomas Street festivities on 5 July, we also wandered into the Jūrmala City Museum, where an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Jūrmala and Ķemeri resorts was on display. The most amusing items there seemed to be the old swimsuits - in faded colours, definitely one-piece, with little frills and made from stretchy knitwear. Those black-and-white ones with thick horizontal stripes were simply in a class of their own. :) This sparked an interest in learning more about the history of the swimsuit.
This morning I woke up earlier than usual, sat down at my beloved time-devourer (read: computer), and stumbled upon an article on Apollo - a company has appeared in Latvia offering loans under a contract, the signing of which means you pledge your soul as collateral. Of course, driven by my eternal curiosity, I visited the "advertised" website. Well, to put it exactly as the Bible quote goes - "what has already happened will happen again, for there is nothing new under the sun." Only in the 16th century a soul was sold for 100 silver or gold thalers, whereas in 21st-century Latvia - for paper 50 lats.
Making love (in the true sense of the word) requires a state of consciousness in which judgement and self-control disappear and are replaced by passion, total abandon, unrestrained feeling and ecstasy. Cancer, however, whatever she is doing, always wants to maintain the upper hand over those around her, to rule over and control them. This tendency stands in permanent conflict with sexuality.
