Rimi's Juicy Slippers at an Ambiguous Price
Rimi supermarkets are quite a pleasant shopping destination, compared to a good many other stores that would do well to seriously think about cleanliness and customer service culture. But this time I was confused by the dual pricing on offer, which from a distance was more enticing than when one got closer and looked more carefully.
Rimi supermarkets are quite a pleasant shopping destination, compared to a good many other stores that would do well to seriously think about cleanliness and customer service culture. I like it there because you can find everything in one place, and they are constantly thinking up various interesting promotions for customers - from collecting and exchanging stickers for crockery, to pre-holiday sales and the corresponding store decorations.
But this time I was confused by the dual pricing on offer, which from a distance was more enticing than when one got closer and looked more carefully. I did still take two pairs of indoor slippers in a luscious lettuce-green and orange colour, as they fit perfectly into the living room interior and I hope they will delight potential guests. At the checkout, however, it turned out one had to trust the larger price tag, not the smaller one. Of course, it is no great trouble to compare the product codes each time. But you know how lazy and fussy the customer is these days?!
