New Potatoes with Rosemary
This recipe was conveniently spotted on a news portal and put into practice with a small modification on my part. That evening the whole kitchen smelled of rosemary. The dish turned out filling and self-sufficient, needing nothing but a few tomato wedges to accompany it.
You will need:
- 1 kg new potatoes
- 100 ml olive oil
- fresh rosemary
- sea salt
- 1 head of garlic
Method:
Wash and scrub the potatoes with a rough sponge or brush. Cut into large wedges.
Prepare a marinade from the olive oil, minced garlic, and rosemary leaves; add salt to taste. Place the potatoes in a bowl, pour over the marinade, mix well, and leave for 15 minutes.
Transfer the potatoes to a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 50 minutes. The result is wonderfully aromatic and juicy potatoes.
