Strawberry Daiquiri
Shortly after the Midsummer holiday, so that the stomach would not forget how it had been pampered, a friend invited me over for a cocktail evening. The centre of attention was the strawberry daiquiri. The day weather-wise was not very lucky - overcast and even drizzling a fine rain. So we sipped the cold daiquiri and mused that there would be nothing better on a properly hot summer evening. Well, the hot days and evenings are here. Let's mix a strawberry daiquiri!

You will need:
• frozen strawberries;
• white rum "Bacardi";
• lime juice (optional);
• strawberry syrup (sugar will do too);
• lemon balm (a matter of style and taste);
• ice (mandatory);
• a fresh strawberry (for garnish);
• a blender and martini glasses with straws in cheerful colours.
I won't specify amounts in grams and litres. It is best to go by inner feeling and trust the intuition naturally given to every host. Of course, take into account the number of friends and previously consumed cocktails. :)
Preparation:
Partially thaw the strawberries. In a blender combine the strawberries, lime juice, and strawberry syrup. Add a tablespoon of chopped lemon balm leaves, crushed ice, and rum, and blend everything together. Pour the cocktail into martini glasses and garnish with a fresh strawberry and mint leaves.
Enjoy!
And a big THANK YOU to Anda for the lovely cocktail evening! ;)
