Normal, Rather Normal and Abnormal

For example, sexual intercourse between a woman and a man in the missionary position is normal. Oral sex is not normal. Swinging, on the other hand, is rather abnormal. Same-sex relationships are completely abnormal.

Ogling "pretty" images and pictures of dogs/cats is normal. Loving cats is rather normal, but loving penguins - strange. Even stranger is loving spiders. Keeping many cats is rather abnormal, just as "taking in" dozens of children, in the eyes of society, will be rather abnormal.

One or two children in a family is normal. Five children - rather abnormal. If a child is raised by a mother alone - that is normal. If the child's parents are both of the female sex, then that is abnormal; if both are men - it is so abnormal that society must intervene and condemn.

Friendly relations between two adults of the opposite sex are normal. Between members of the same sex, if they are women it is acceptable; if men and it is not connected with alcohol, fishing, sport or cars, then it is abnormal. Sexual relations between two adults are normal. Such relations between teenagers are rather normal, between children - rather abnormal. Sexual relations between an adult woman and a minor male are reprehensible. Between an adult male and a minor female - criminally punishable, yet acceptable to society.

Living from paycheck to paycheck, or hand to mouth, is normal. Being an entrepreneur is rather abnormal. Being a banker or creditor is completely abnormal. Inability to earn enough to feed one's family - is normal. Living the high life is normal, but socially condemned.

Stealing from the state is normal but punishable conduct. Stealing from the neighbour's garden is not normal, but tolerable. Stealing from relatives is abnormal and reprehensible.

From this value code we can construct an abstract model of the ideal person:

A man. With a basic, secondary or vocational education, who knows how to do one particular thing, for example, fix cars. He is married, the family has one child. He lives from paycheck to paycheck in a flat in an apartment block. He likes either fishing or (watching) sport. He meets up with friends to have a drink, or drinks so that there is a reason to meet up. He likes younger women. If means and nerve allow, he also has a mistress.

A woman. Has finished secondary school or even studied at university. Dream job - to "sit" in an office. At home there is a cat. The family has one or two children, because in her eyes that is a "guarantee" that the husband will not leave her for a younger bride. In her teenage years she dreamed of a prince on a white horse.
