Many Cancers follow in their parents' footsteps, taking over the family business. But those with a stronger character, on the contrary, voice great protest and a desire to work in a self-chosen profession. This Moon type is slow, lethargic, weary, and apathetic - they therefore prove themselves better in routine work that requires no great reasoning ability. While Cancer does their work, they think about their life. They start slowly but are persistent, obedient, and conscientious. They know how to make work easier for themselves and others.
Cancer works better in a team that has an intimate, family-like atmosphere. It is important to Cancer that they like the people around them. Cancer allows themselves to be used and evaluated. They even receive less than they deserve. This is because they lack the nerve to ask for more.
Cancer Professions
The second type, influenced by Saturn, already knows how to stand up for themselves a little. At times they abuse some acquaintance or are too familiar. However, this type too cannot give or receive orders or frequently change jobs. Both types could potentially work in jobs connected with children, animals, clothing, water, and all kinds of liquids. They make good kindergarten workers, psychologists, obstetricians, nannies, navigators, gardeners, foresters, watchmakers, animal trainers. Cancer women can of course also be excellent homemakers and simply mothers.

Frida Kahlo's painting "Viva la vida"
Speaking of work: whatever the phase of the Moon - that is, whatever Cancer's mood - upon arriving at work Cancer knows how to pull themselves together and become serious and businesslike. Cancer understands that one can only earn money through hard, diligent work. Whatever business Cancer engages in, their crown profession is that of a salesperson.
Cancer as a Boss
Cancer bosses are strict, but they also do not forget to reward diligent workers. Cancer women, for their part, are drawn in their work to cosy and warm spaces, friendly faces, and a peaceful team. But Cancers not infrequently become indulgent if they do not keep a firm grip on themselves, as the advice of others is of little importance to them.
